영어 본문

Today's topic is something that's quite important to me. We're going to look at the zero-waste movement. I think this is an idea that most people are very familiar with because almost everywhere in the world we've been taught how important it is to cut back on plastics and recycle as much rubbish as we can.

 

The zero-waste movement takes this idea a little further so you do as much as possible to ensure that you have no rubbish at all. You buy as little as you can and re-use or recycle as much as you can.

 

I think it's impossible to live 100% without waste. But if you imagine that you do everything you can to reduce your weekly bag of rubbish as much as possible – that's the journey to zero waste. Here are a few things that zero-waste people do.

 

They have items around that help them avoid creating waste in their daily life. For example, they have a reusable water bottle so they don't need to buy water in plastic PET bottles.
