Moving towards zero waste -4

 

영어 본문

Now, this next item is a bit hard, and is only really something you can do if you have a garden or an area where you can grow vegetables… and that is composting your kitchen waste.

 

Compost is basically decomposing organic matter and it's actually very good for your garden. But you need to collect and store all the waste from your kitchen - fruit and vegetable parts, eggshells, coffee grounds, unbleached paper and tea bags.

 

Any organic material is collected in a bin and allowed to rot. If having a bin full of rotting food is a step too far then you can simply avoid as much food waste as possible by being more careful when planning, shopping for and preparing meals.

 

Before I finish today – I'd like you to notice a few synonyms that came up in today's talk. Do you know what a synonym is? Two different words that have the same or at least a very similar meaning.

1. Before I finish today – I'd like you to notice a few synonyms that came up in today's talk. - "오늘을 마치기 전에 - 오늘 이야기에서 나온 몇 가지 동의어에 주목해 주셨으면 좋겠어요."
2. Do you know what a synonym is? - "동의어가 무엇인지 아시나요?"
3. Two different words that have the same or at least a very similar meaning. - "최소한 매우 유사한 의미를 가진 두 가지 다른 단어입니다."
